Rosemary Cook

Rosemary Cook worked for many years as a conservator and restorer of the decorative arts before discovering her own love for sculpting. Whilst working as a restorer of sculpture at The Royal Academy she aquired extensive knowledge of both materials and techniques.  This valuable experience gave her a great start in her career as a professional sculptor and, clearly, still benefits her work today.  She has a prodigious talent and creates exceptional sculpture from her studio in in Suffolk where she works in an old oak framed barn.  Using clay to produce her original models, Rosemary’s work is always thoroughly distinctive with strong, impressionistic lines.  For the most part she sculpts dogs but occasionally also sculpts the human form.  She does not undertake bespoke commissions. Rosemary was made an associate member of The Society of Women artists in March 2009 and a full member in May 2010.

Stockbridge Gallery holds one of the largest collection of Rosemary's Work in Europe.  The works shown here are only a representative sample of what is available.  All of Rosemary's sculptures are limited edition pieces and most are available in separate bronze and bronze/copper resin editions.  If you don't see what you want please just call us.
