Paula Vize is an award winning artist who paints with a freedom and vibrancy that is utterly captivating.   Her passion for England’s rural heritage has inspired her to capture unique views of things that we now take for granted but which may one day disappear.  Largely self taught, Paula has exhibited widely and her reputation is growing apace.   She works principally as a commissioned artist, mainly in watercolours and acrylics; recent work also includes a number of oils and pastels.  Paula’s unfettered, natural style brings a quirky and modern approach to her subject, giving it a contemporary rather than a traditional feel.    Her signature style is possibly best encapsulated in her paintings of hounds, several of which are exhibited in the gallery.
