Product Description

Sam is a hugely talented painter and sculptor working principally as a commissioned artist from her studios in London and Mallorca.  She works in a variety of mediums depending on her subject and is as comfortable in Brazilian soapstone as she is in pastel or oils.  Sam's early interest in drawing and painting was nurtured by local artists during a stay in Vancouver Island and was further developed when she returned to England and studied with the renowned sporting artist Neil Forster.  She then spent a number of years in Italy studying classical portraiture before returning to London in 1999 where she established her studio.  Since then she has undertaken many commissions on a wide variety of subjects.  Sam has a particular love of drawing animals and has been commissioned to paint virtually every known breed of dog.
