Marie Ackers
Born in France, Marie's work is inspired and influenced by the work of the 19th century French Animaliers, such as Pierre Jules Mêne and Antoine Louis Barye. Her work is all about capturing the spirit and the essence of the subject - capturing life. Marie has developed a portfolio of limited, numbered and signed editions in bronze ranging from life size to miniature which are available at Stockbridge Gallery. We also have some of her small-run limited editions in cold cast bronze.
