After an initial Fine Art diploma from Wimbledon Art School, Imogen studied botanical art under the tutelage of Rosie Sanders and spent time at RHS Wisley. In 2003 she enrolled at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy where she spent three intensive years studying the techniques of the great masters.
Imogen works in charcoal, oils and pastels and creates portraits, still life and nudes as well as animals. Her ability to capture the character of animals has created a strong demand, not only for her dogs, but also for her horses and cows.
Notable commissions have included the image for the Christmas card of the Countryside Alliance, the mascot for The Irish Guards, a portrait of the chairman of Harrogate’s Royal Hall Restoration Trust.
