The advent of digitised artwork and computer based illustration in the ‘90s brought fundamental change to her industry and was the catalyst she needed to make a career leap. Toni had always much preferred to draw living, breathing creatures and she finally gave in to the pull of the wild, leaving behind the inanimate and becoming a full time animal artist. She’s never looked back. Much of her early painting featured African wildlife and she quickly became a noted contributor to this genre with her work featuring in several of Christie’s wildlife auctions. More recently she has focused on domestic livestock creating funky, contemporary depictions of cows, sheep, donkeys and pigs with a subtle quip of humour.
