Kim McRae

Having studied an Art Foundation course at Sir John Cass, Kim McRae changed direction and read for a degree in English and a Masters in Education.  This was followed by a successful career teaching both Art and English before retiring from the profession as a Deputy Head in 2009.  Since then she has been indulging her passion for breeding Smooth Dachshunds, Chihuahuas and French Bulldogs whilst working as a professional artist.  Kim is hugely versatile and works as happily in ink and wash, watercolour and oil as she does in acrylic and mixed media.  Her subjects of choice are animals, usually dogs, but she does also paint people and the world around her.  Kim works from her studio in Surrey.
