Georgie Welch specialises in limited edition bronzes of dogs and horses. Georgie grew up on horseback and then rode professionally until 1995 when she started sculpting. Since then she has worked solely as a figurative sculptor. All of her sculptures are cast in the lost wax method at the renowned Pangolin Editions Foundry. Georgie won the British Sporting Art Trust Award in 1998 and in 2010 was selected as one of the best in show at the Society of Equestrian Artists’ International Open Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. Georgie accepts a limited number of bespoke commissions. Her sculpture commissions start from around £5,000 and range up to £35,000+ depending on size, medium, composition and the like.
