Nigel Hemming is a master painter of dogs - particularly working dogs – and his name has become synonymous with 21^st century narrative dog-themed painting.  The relationships between man and dog as well as those between dogs themselves inspire his work.  His keen observation of canine behavioural traits has won him a keen following and he has been widely published in limited editions since the 1980s; his work is collected across the world.  The Stockbridge Gallery is privileged to hold the original oil paintings of many of these hugely popular and collectable prints.  Nigel is also available to take portraiture commissions.
