Emily Burrowes
Emily, who originally trained as a printer, loves the simplicity of breaking down her paintings into a few colours. Her very distinctive style uses clean lines and blocks of colour to create striking images. Her painting of her own dog, Willow, is her most treasured piece of artwork. She says: Although it's 'just a painting' to me it represents my relationship with my dog, every time I look at it it's a reminder of how special she is to me. Emily enjoys recreating that "je ne sais crois" for other people in her paintings of their dogs.
