Belinda lives and paints on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border of the New Forest, surrounded by lovely countryside and the hardworking people and animals who help to maintain it.  Having studied Fine Art at college, she trained and worked for many years as a graphic designer but after a career break to bring up her family, she returned to painting.  Belinda's specialism is gun-dogs and terriers.  She grew up on an estate near Winchester and enjoyed beating at local shoots, where Spaniels and Labradors abounded.  This began her love affair with working dogs which she portrays with detailed realism and a hint of quirkiness to reflect the character of the animal and to give a slightly more contemporary feel to her work.
